Located in 81 High street, Faridabad covering an area of 3500 sq ft. with almost half of the area an open terrace with unfettered view.

 

The clients brief was to create a sedate family restaurant, a bar and a hangout space for young customers. The inside space was treated in a manner to create a quiet, flexible environment. The bar has been strategically placed at the farther end bridging the inside and the outside. A portion of the indoor restaurant seating near the end visually combines with the outdoor seating arrangement to give a sense of continuity. 

 

The open AC ducts, the graphite grey ceiling, the dark flooring combined with light coloured woodwork makes for a very cosy and a calm space. Use of polished and rough dark flooring contrast with light elementsThe outdoor with a cascade, waterfall, a lot of climbers,exuberant and foliage plants makes vivacious outdoor space. Raised deck alongside lotus pond/ fountain, makes for a flexible and interesting space for larger groups. 

 

The entire restaurant gives a street like feeling which is enhanced by the materials such as pebbles and rough Kota stone and the asymmetrical nature of the plan.
