The office and showroom of KVM International, a USA based buying house, was located in an upscale locality of Delhi. The 10,000 sq ft. Basement space and residential area on the upper level was connected from two streets at two different levels. 

 

The front part of the basement housed the showroom, the directors office, workstations for the merchandisers and designers, besides a huge showroom and sampling area. The rear part of the basement was double height space which was designed with large burntwood columns and predominantly a display centre for furniture. 

 

The dwelling unit comprises living, dining, spacious kitchen and three large bedrooms. The showroom floor was made with huge sandstone blocks with joints filled with molten lead, the conference table and the sitting areas were done up in a unique sculpturesque manner using huge sections of wood with bold carvings.
