with four main levels. Basement is predominantly an entertainment area. The highlights of the basement are its zoning and layout, the use of solid wood furniture, carved panels and treatment of walls and ceiling. 

 

All formal and informal activity spaces are on the ground floor, bedrooms are placed on the first and second floor. There is a visual connection between ground and first floor with a glass bridge which connects to son’s room overlooking the double height dining space and a piano shaped glass floor over the entrance lobby. Top floor houses two fairly large bedrooms with walkin closets and a personal lounge overlooking a huge terrace, which doubles up as a party space.

 

A huge sculpture made out of interlocking sandstone blocks held to the wall with wooden dowels along the driveway. The pattern of the sculpture is replicated on the floor and made out of lappato finish granite stone.

 

The building exterior is dominated by straight lines, glass, flamed granite, rough travertine and deck wood. The interior spaces are open and expansive. Italian marble floors, wood panelling, interesting furniture pieces bring the interior alive and there is a strong connection with the interior and exterior spaces.
